I had a great stay at the AC Hotel in Washington, DC. The hotel is modern, clean, and very well located, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms are stylish, comfortable, and quiet, with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The overall atmosphere is calm and professional, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a highlight of my stay, especially thanks to Tersit. Tersit was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming every morning. They always greeted guests with a warm smile and made sure everything was well organized and enjoyable. Their positive attitude truly made breakfast time feel special and set a great tone for the day.

My recent stay at The AC Downtown Hotel in Washington, D.C. was a remarkable experience, even amidst one of the city’s heaviest snowstorms in history. From the moment I arrived, the staff exhibited exceptional hospitality and professionalism, ensuring every guest felt safe, comfortable, and well cared for during the challenging weather conditions. A one-night stay turned into FOUR NIGHTS of a solo staycation hideaway. I live in the suburbs of Prince Georges County and getting back home on a private road and a long driveway was utterly impossible. The lobby, elegantly adorned with warm lighting and seasonal décor, provided a welcoming warm and cozy retreat from the cold. Despite the storm, check-in was seamless, and the concierge and valet staff went above and beyond to assist with transportation updates, local dining recommendations, and special arrangements for guests whose travel plans had been disrupted. Special shout out to Manager Andrew and his front desk team lead by Mark, Nathan, LeDestiny and Naomi. My room was immaculate, featuring luxurious linens, modern amenities, and panoramic views of the snow-covered cityscape. The attention to detail—from the thoughtful in-room amenities to the impeccable housekeeping service—was truly first-class. Dining at the hotel was another highlight. The on-site restaurant adapted flawlessly to the storm conditions, maintaining a consistent level of excellence in both menu offerings and service. The culinary team’s ability to deliver exceptional meals, even during a citywide shutdown, was impressive. Perhaps most noteworthy was the management’s commitment to guest comfort and safety. Regular communications kept us informed, and they offered complimentary hot beverages in the lobby—a thoughtful touch that reflected genuine care. In every respect, The AC Hotel Downtown demonstrated why it deserves its five-star rating. The staff’s dedication and composure under pressure transformed what could have been a stressful stay into a serene and memorable experience.

Shoutout to Brian at the front desk! Amazing customer service starting from calling the hotel to figure out where/how to park for Valet (as that may be an issue for most due to their location), to check-in and beyond. Give that man a raise! Modern and clean rooms. Can’t beat the location due to proximity to great restaurants and Capitol One Arena.

The room was on the small side but very clean and comfortable. The staff were all very nice and I actually had housekeeping everyday which is unheard nowadays. It is in a great location and around many restaurants and other POIs. I did not visit them but they had a restaurant in the lobby and a rooftop bar. I would stay here again if I was in the area.

From the moment I walked into this bar, I knew I was in for something special. The atmosphere is the perfect blend of elevated, inviting, and effortlessly cool - a space that feels intimate without being pretentious, beautifully designed without feeling staged. What impressed me most was how comfortable and at home I felt right away. The lighting was warm, the music was perfectly curated, and the entire space had this subtle sense of refinement that immediately set it apart from so many places I've been. It's rare to find a spot that nails the visuals AND the vibe, but this one manages it flawlessly. The drinks were exceptional across the board - balanced, creative, and clearly made with real intention. You can taste the craft in every glass. The cocktails weren't just good; they were thoughtful, well-constructed, and genuinely enjoyable to sip. The bar team was friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable without ever being overbearing. And I have to give a special shout-out to the manager, who was truly the highlight of the night. His warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality made the entire experience feel personal and memorable. It's not often someone elevates a night out the way they did. To top it all off, the room I'm staying in is stunning - we got the corner King and hands down it’s the most beautiful space I've been in for at least the past two months (and I don't say that lightly, we travel a lot and I believe in a good room!!). Spacious, clean, stylish, and thoughtfully designed, it's the kind of room that makes you want to extend your trip just to soak it in. Between the phenomenal drinks, the gorgeous atmosphere, and the exceptional service, tonight was easily one of my favorite experiences in DC. If you're looking for a place that combines aesthetics, quality, and top-tier hospitality, look no further — this spot has it all.

The rooms are nice, clean and functional. The hot water didn't get really warm for the 4 nights I was there; not sure what the issue was. The rooftop lounge was nice and relaxing. The lamb chops had great flavor;however, a little overcooked. Overall the hotel and area was nice.

This is the most responsive hotel I have had the pleasure of interacting with. Our flight was getting in late and I had virtually checked in but wanted to make sure arriving close to midnight was okay. They were quick to remove any stress I had and were incredible pleasant when we finally arrived, even helping with the elevator that I was too tired to use. They made sure in the evenings that hotel guests were given priority to use the elevators to get to their rooms over social club visitors. Bathroom was wonderful, very clean. Great location. Bryan was very helpful as well as the rest of his staff.

I enjoyed my stay. My only complaints are that The rooms are smaller than pictured and that the breakfast was not worth $22 a person. But They were open on thanksgiving for breakfast, so we ate there. However, ALL of the staff was extremely kind and helpful. From the front desk to the maids and the kitchen staff everyone was amazing and my rooms always stayed stocked and cleaned. Thank you so much !
